Thank you for understanding.
Many people have questions (like "what is this?", "can you help ---?"), and this is encouraged, however I ask that you please review the information available throughout my website and then ask me a specific question. Or maybe the question is better formed during or after your session, as you are processing old stuff that is being released (emotionally) and you wish to understand deeper.
Each session has time for consult/guidance - because let's discuss what you are ready to work on changing or releasing from your body and mindset so that you can FEEL FREE TO MOVE, LIGHTER and HAPPIER OVERALL.
Can I get Deep Tissue / pain relief work?
I'm not a fit as your massage therapist unless you are ready to dig deeper internally, to partner with your healing journey to make deep tissue/ pain relief work more effective. If I feel I'm hurting my own body to continue the same maintenance on yours, I will ask for the situation to be addressed.
Do you offer Traditional Thai Bodywork?
No, because of the fact that I have had limited (vs extensive) Thai Bodywork training. I offer a blended session, "Reiki Thai Fusion" and I incorporate other modalities.
Do I leave my clothes on? (Bodywork or Reiki - YES!)
Sure, if you're more comfortable that way! It's easier to work over clothing for thai bodywork and stretching. No Jeans! Comfortable clothing like yoga pants or gym pants.
When to take under garments off? If receiving a massage therapy (or combined) session with oil/lotion, and you need glute work for hip mobility and low back pain, you can skip the under garments, as you will be appropriately draped. However joint mobility can also be worked over sheets and clothing.
To Tip or not to tip?
Tipping is SOOO appreciated! I am super fond of "PAY IT FORWARD" and feel those who tip 20% + are contributing to the services of those who skip tipping or tip less (due to budgeting purposes and/or financial need). Essentially tips balance out support for my business, and what else I might be able to offer to our community, like free mini videos or inspiration.
Why should I value self-care? We are all limited by time and priorities. I see professionals regularly for healing and know how important it is that I maintain my wellness to be of the best service to others.
I also understand some people need healing before they VALUE their bodies and the healing they receive. My rates are higher than some massage therapy places because of what is possible from healing work. The combination work I do is much different. Also, I provide the best quality of work and healing when I am rested, balancing life/work and choose to limit my schedule and time appropriately for my self-care, etc. With this wisdom, I seek to encourage valuing self-care to be at our individual highest and best self.
Do you offer specials or discounts? (Not often but could be seasonally; if there's more openings.)
You may use Code VIP10 for $10 off select services or VIP15 for $15 off select services. Discounts were dropped. This code replaced VIP loyalty rates for monthly clients, Military, Seniors or service professions.
What do you offer for allergies?
PLEASE let me know before the session OR BRING your own oil! I diffuse essential oils so if you prefer not to have that going, I need to know before the session. I use Biotone Truly Coconut oil, CBD oil or Santa Barbara Cream (contains Olive Oil, coconut oil, Beeswax, plus essential oils - its edible).
Does Massage therapy or bodywork help pain or limited mobility? Yes - tell me what's going on before and/or during the session so I can help with any chronic or acute pain issue. You can point or tell me where the pain appears, although I will work other areas that contribute to the issue.
Do you have Special Accommodations for comfort or getting on to table?
I do have extra pillows for propping or you can rest side-lying if laying on your back or stomach is uncomfortable. I have a lift table so it can be lowered to get onto.
Wheelchair accessible office.
