Thai bodywork or Thai "yoga" uses meridian compression, joint rotation and light stretching, as well as massage techniques over the clothing that leave you feeling less restricted or more free to move.
Reiki is a light calming touch, using energy in and around the body which helps to relax, balance and center the body.
Reiki promotes clearing out stuck energy and/or old thought patterns so that we may be guided by our soul. Old "issues"; unprocessed emotions and feelings get stuck int our fascia, muscles and joints, creating restrictions to mvoing forward with ease and presence. Jen prefers to blend the science and spiritual aspects.

Customized, intuitive bodywork blended with energy healing and medical massage therapy is meant to meet and address your current physical body situation (which affects your mental and emotional state). When a client feels safe, present and is open to energy healing, change happens with more ease.
The first step of healing is focusing on relieving pain and tension so you feel better. Then you can take the next steps in your journey with your mindset and movement! Quality of life is directly affected by pain or stress, so its important to create the habit of integrating small changes and self care practices that support your best health and wellness.

Bodywork + massage therapy (especially when combined with Chiropractic and Acupuncture or Physical therapy) can help to gradually overcome issues with muscle tissue damage, repetitive stress or a fibromyalgia flareup. Combination bodywork works to help alleviate tension when it's needed, but as a routine (that might be every 2wks - 6 wks), it is easier to maintain overall (holistic) wellness.

Let's discuss where you're at from a somatic (body sensations) and energy perspective and take a look at what you want to change. This is a no-touch session, focusing on an energetic consultation (with use of spiritual tools) and includes guidance for going forward in your journey.
If time allows and/or requested, consultation may include a hands-on physical evaluation to see if bodywork with energy clearing/sound therapy may also help move stagnation to create inner and outer transformation in your life.

For those with chronic pain, tension, or an injury, please don't be discouraged by a brief increase in pain or your tolerance going up or down at times. It usually takes 3 sessions to notice things are changing for more than a few days to a week, and more frequent visits are suggested initially, then you can gradually work towards monthly, etc. Every body responds differently to changes.
